Christmas card illustration for Beast!

Last Autumn a group of 6 illustrators (including me!) working and living in Norwich decided to create an illustration collective called Beast!
We meet every fortnight at a local pub (usually the Playhouse) and over a round of drinks (usually real ale or cider), we chat and share our thoughts, ideas, drawings and also work in joint projects.
The illustration above is part of one of these projects: Designing and selling sets of 6 illustrated Christmas Cards with all the benefits going to a local charity (http://www.hamletcentre.org.uk).
You can learn a bit more about the "origin" of Beast! in this Fiona Gowen's blog entry.
You can follow Beast's updates and news in our Facebook page and also in twitter.

Hair Animation for Propecia ad (Germany)

I created and animated a character for a flip book flash advert of hair product Propecia. This project was made in collaboration with super talented animator and friend Helen Schroeder for the German agency La Red (www.la-red.de).
Here you can see some early designs of the characters:

Character design for the book "Money Go Round'

I was commissioned to design a character that would introduce the different chapters of a book about the history of economics called 'Money Go Round'.

JC (his name) would wear a different disguises according to the time in history. In the image above we find him wearing Greek and Sumerian costumes.

JC also appears as George III and... Queen Victoria.

And he makes an special appearance as Dr. Who and as a chicken.
